Founder and Owner of DWC
A 2005 graduate of Clemson University, Austin Wood earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Mechanization and Business, building a foundation that would later shape his reputation as one of the most skilled and trusted arena builders in the region. With deep expertise in earthwork, drainage, erosion control, and water management, Austin brings a level of technical precision and problem-solving rarely found in the equestrian construction industry. He is CEPSCI-certified (Certified Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control Inspector) and known for his ability to engineer riding arenas on sites where other contractors simply cannot.
While many builders can construct a basic arena, Austin excels in the projects that require experience, foresight, and advanced technical skill—from steep grades and poor soil compositions to complex drainage paths and high-water environments. His ability to visualize the end result long before the first bucket of dirt is moved allows him to design solutions that ensure structural integrity, long-term performance, and exceptional rideability for every arena he builds.
